The Print Partner Sales Management Program 🖨️
When dealing with print devices, you and your clients want things to be as easy as possible.
But many times, print servers can complicate your client's printing workflow.
Print servers often have issues and go down for lengthy periods of time - even with the most diligent care possible, downtime will always occur.
Plus, a lot of IT infrastructure is moving to the cloud, where MSPs are not necessarily setting up the same infrastructure that previous generations of engineers were accustomed to (Azure AD, anyone?).
As a result, serverless printing is becoming an increasingly popular alternative to traditional server-based print management.
At Print Partner, our #1 priority is to keep our MSP partners informed on the latest trends of the solutions we are using within our managed print ecosystem. We work with hundreds of MSPs throughout the country handling our partner’s printing needs so that your MSP can focus on your higher-priority tasks.
In this article, we will review what serverless printing is - how it works, how it compares to traditional print servers, and how we expect it to impact the corporate and managed print services industry as a whole.

How’d This is an IT Support group come to be?
Hey friends, no career advice or member highlight this week.
Instead, I’m here to tell you about the humble origins of This is an IT Support Group.
Around 2017 or so, I was deep into Facebook groups, joining them left and right for cars and guitars and all sorts of things I was into.
One of the things I thought I’d be into was running an MSP. So I made a Facebook group for it called IT/MSP Entrepreneurs.
Plot twist: I didn’t want to run an MSP.
Next, I wanted a place to hangout with IT professionals like myself.
I was in another Facebook group you might recognize…
They were NOT A TECH SUPPORT GROUP.
But I was definitely a smart ass, so This is an IT Support Group was born.
Whenever users asked for IT Support advice and got told they weren’t allowed to post it there, I swooped in and tagged my group.
(No offense to IT Install Nightmares group by the way, they’re great.)
The name also always reminded me of that weird French Surrealist art. The one that says “This is not a pipe”.
Just me? Ok, weird reference bro.
Since founding, This is an IT Support Group has grown to nearly 100k members in our group and 12k awesome folks on our newsletter.
It’s led to new friendships and awesome opportunities to connect IT professionals.
The original name was meant for IT pros to just share technical advice and troubleshoot stuff.
But now, it’s a place where IT pros can get actual career advice, vent to others and network.
Pretty cool, huh?
Some days I wonder why I put the effort into this thing, but it really has been rewarding.
What’s the next step look like?
WELL
We’re looking at launching an additional, private and vetted community of IT professionals who want to absolutely kill it in their careers.
It’s early days still, but I’m gathering feedback on how to make that happen.
If you’re interested, I’d appreciate a survey response here
